What to Expect

Our Philosophy
Around 2 months before your wedding weekend we'll visit your venue – usually physically, but sometimes virtually – to scout the best locations for photos.
2 Months Prior
This is usually when we schedule your engagement session – a perfect opportunity to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of the camera.
4 Months Prior
During this time we'll set up a call with you and your vendor team to learn more about your vision, style preferences, and any specific requests you might have.
6 Months Prior
Project Timeline
You'll receive a sneak peek of your imagery the day after your wedding, the final gallery within 8-12 weeks, and an album consultation scheduled shortly thereafter.
Post-Wedding
Leo & Grey will be on-site, capturing every moment as it unfolds. For more specific information, see our proposed event timeline below.
Wedding Weekend
Our final-check in is usually around the 30-day mark, where we'll finalize the timeline and cover any crucial day-of logisitics.
1 Month Prior
We've photographed hundreds of weddings – and while every wedding is unique, each of them shares a certain rhythm and flow that we've grown accustomed to and have learned to account for with our photography style. Below is a proposed photography schedule based on our initial conversations with you and your vendor team. This is meant to be collaborative, so please let us know if you'd like to see any changes.

Photo selection for albums is done with an online album making tool. Album curation and design services are also available at cost.
After the wedding, how do we choose photos for our photo album?
We embrace the unexpected! Bad weather often creates unique, beautiful moments. However, we can always adjust plans or find alternative indoor locations if needed.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We'll ask for a list of close family and friends you'd like to include in these photos during one of our calls, and then curate orderly lists from there.
How are family formal photos organized?
You will receive full personal use rights to all of your final images. Commercial use is subject to separate terms, which can be outlined in your contract.
What is your policy on image rights?
We prefer to work without a specific shot list, preferring instead to rely on our experience to capture amazing photos throughout the day.
Can we request specific shots or poses?
Both Leo & Grey will be present to ensure comprehensive coverage of your day. Additional photographers can be added at cost.
How many photographers will be at our wedding?
We’re experts so that you don’t have to be.
